The Perfect Storm…laying waste to the service industry one offensive comment at a time

A follow up today on the story yesterday about LSU quarterback and Renaissance man Ryan “Perfect Storm” Perrilloux and his run in at a local Baton Rouge eatery.  The LSU Daily Reveille, who is doing the Lord’s work really, has an interview with a witness ,who will remain nameless, who was at the scene of the altercation Sunday.

Another employee at Kona Grill confirmed Wednesday that Ryan Perrilloux was involved in a verbal altercation at the restaurant, saying the junior quarterback called a server “Osama.” The employee agreed to speak to The Daily Reveille under the condition of anonymity and said the incident occurred Sunday around 10 p.m.

Another Kona Grill server, Drew Watson, said he knew “all about the incident” but “already agreed to management not to comment.”

Perrilloux entered the restaurant with an unidentified former LSU football player and three employees from Crazy Horse Cabaret, the anonymous employee said.

He said the group sat in the cocktail area and began drinking. Perrilloux, the employee said, began yelling obscenities and racial slurs to their server.

So see,  it was just a nice leisurely dinner with a friend and a couple of strippers until the insurgent waiting tables gets all fatwa-y on The Storm and his friends.  He’s a victim here people.  In that case, I think hurling racial epithets is completely justified, but what do I know, I grew up in a gated community.

You’d think that Osama would have had a better sense of humor about the whole thing.
