Heisman Trophy Winners Know Golf

May 15th, 2008 by · No Comments

Heisman Trophy Winners Bo Jackson, Pat Sullivan, and Steve Spurrier showed off their golf game Wednesday in Hoover, Ala., at the 2008 Regions Charity Classic Pro-Am. One can only imagine that Pat Sullivan and Bo Jackson swing the sticks a little better than fellow Auburn great, Charles Barkley. When Tiger Woods mocks you for a Wii Commercial, you obviously aren’t doing it right. Don’t worry, we’ll get to see Sir Charles along with Nick Saban, Joe Namath, Tommy Tuberville (who is playing with Brandon Cox and Taylor Hicks of all people) and many others on Thursday at the Pro-Am. As between these Heisman Winners, Bo may know golf, but we’d have to say that the Ol’ Ball Coach New Ball Coach would be the favorite. Pat, we suggest you pay attention.

Also, if you have any news of Tim Brando’s round, please let us know.  We can only hope and pray it was as exciting as last year.  Check out some TV interviews with Bobby Bowden, Steve Spurrier, Tim Brando (who was surprised that he was invited back this year), Jeff Fisher, and Pat Sullivan at the Pro-Am here. Photos of Bo, Jeff Lebo, Al Del Greco, Jeff Fisher, and Bobby Bowden at the Pro-Am after the jump.
