As if the new Batman movie needed any more marketing and promotional spots. The Batmobile had a (friendly) 1-lap race today against Italian Formula One driver Jarno Trulli on the Silverstone race track in England. After seeing this photo, what we can’t understand is how the Batmobile allowed the Formula One car to take the lead? Why didn’t the Batmobile just drive over the Formula One car, demolish it, and then coast to the easy victory? Or at least get behind it and shoot some missles at it or something. Jeez. This race shouldn’t have been close — the Batmobile can drive over rooftops and is practically invincible; the Formula One car…not so much. More photos after the jump.
