We made a trip over the weekend to the middle of freaking nowhere…otherwise known as State College, PA. Half-assed pictures and snarky comments about JoePa being old and his players being criminals to follow…
Quite an impressive palace of gridiron glory, shaking any premonitions of Penn State being a middle of nowhere cow college…
until we saw this directly next door. We are Penn State.
If they put this statue out on the sidelines, do you think anyone would notice?
A completely useless building on campus. Its probably used for boat shows and science fairs during basketball season
Some guys we saw on campus doing tia chi, or yoga, or the dance from Karate Kid II, we really couldn’t tell and we couldnt see any of those little handheld drums.
And upon further review, doesnt this guy…
look a bit like this guy…
All of the high comedy aside, State College really is a beautiful place. The town itself is pretty cool, your typical college fare in some spots but a unique market and downtown area make it an above average major college town. That being said, as a full blooded heterosexual male who spent his college years in one of the most fertile of female grounds in the SEC, the South, hell, these United States of America…I feel I am fully qualified to make the following statement concerning the co-ed populace at Penn State…yeesh! Look, I know that it was the summer and there isnt a full representation on campus, but still, must every woman I saw there look like they lived next to the silos on 3 Mile Island? Come on Nittanys, you’re better than that!
