Boxer Anthony “The Bullet” Bonsante, aka Boxing’s No. 1 Dad, must have learned some acting skills when he was a contestant on The Contender, likely from Sly Stallone. As you’ll see in this video (at approx. the 3:00 min. mark), he managed to convince the referee that he was knocked out cold in the first round of his ESPN Friday Night Fight against Adonis Stevenson, when he really wasn’t. Or was he? Who the fuck knows? Maybe he was planning to throw the fight and changed his mind at the last second, maybe he was knocked the fuck out and just woke up? One thing’s for certain, the referee wasn’t going to allow him to continue, no matter how much he bitched and complained.
