Saban, He's Money And You Know It

August 14th, 2008 by Michael Medallion · 1 Comment

Make money money, make money money monaaaayy

Tim Tebow isn’t the only major magazine cover boy in the SEC right now. Alabama’s Nick Saban is on cover of the latest Forbes Magazine which declares him “Sports’ Most Powerful Coach”. That grin says “Im not going any where baby, Id never leave you”, someone with all the charm and cunning of  John Gage that will eventually leave you curled up on the couch having a “fat night” with 2 quarts of rocky road after he replaces you with the younger, prettier girl.

This photo looks like it was staged by the director of the movie “300″ for some reason. Saban is obviously playing the role of Xerxes, which suits him fine because he and most of his faithful followers think he’s God anyway. Though, the fine people at the Birmingham Christian Family Magazine might not feel the same way, but still felt comfortable putting Saban on the cover of their magazine too. Power, Money, and Strong Christian Values…sounds like he’s running for Congress in Alabama. Sadly, he would win, in a landslide and it wouldn’t matter who he ran against.
