Apparently knife edge chops are not overly effective in street fights
It was reported yesterday that the Natureboy, the 16 time World Champion, the limo ridin’, jet flyin’, wheelin’, dealin’, kiss stealin’ son of a gun, Ric Flair, was attacked beaten up in the streets of Chapel Hill. We assumed Dusty Rhodes was somehow involved. Apparently not.
Most of former professional wrestler Ric Flair’s fights were scripted.
But Chapel Hill, N.C., police didn’t find anything fake about the blood and bruises on the Nature Boy after a fight with his daughter’s 22-year-old boyfriend.
Neither man was charged, but Flair’s daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, was charged for resisting police after the 22-year-old became belligerent and kicked an officer, Chapel Hill police Lt. Kevin Gunter said Tuesday.
Neighbors called police about 2:30 a.m. Friday about a fight at an apartment in the city about 30 miles northwest of Raleigh. The fight was over, but officers followed a trail of blood to Fliehr’s apartment.
Apparently the boyfriend is now “The Man”. We can only assume that when the boyfriend hit Flair that the Natureboy stumbled a few steps forward before prat falling on his face.
My biggest issue with all of this is the complete lack of concern from the Four Horsemen. In the old days, when the Natureboy was catching a beatdown from the Rock n’ Roll Express or Magnum TA, good ole Double A and Tully were always there to make the save. But there Ric was, all alone on the mean streats of the Research Triangle having to fend for himself. Bischoff would never have ended an episode of Nitro like that.
Amazingly, we have the first photographs of Flair shortly after the confrontation…after the jump

While the premise isn’t funny, the way this story was written is.
“NWO takes no responsibility” – HILARIOUS!

I think we’re missing the point…why is Ric Fliehr living in an apartment?
