The best parking spot at Davis Wade Stadium for the game between Auburn and Mississippi State this past weekend. More than likely, we took some longtime State booster’s parking spot that he’s had for 30 years — f*ck him, we were lazy. And no, we weren’t towed, despite Auburn tags on the suburban. So, after paying way too much to park, we headed over to the other side of the stadium to tailgate in the Junction:
Good times tailgating. I would have had a few more photos, but let’s just say, I don’t suggest drinking a 5-hour energy drink and then drinking Red Bull and Crown (yes, Crown) in the steaming Mississippi heat. Moonshine is also a bad idea. Though, here’s a few more photos from Saturday thanks to Flickr:
As for the baseball game, I’ve never left a game where both teams’ fans felt so dejected, almost as bad as leaving your girlfriend’s house after finding out she stars in bukake videos – head down, kicking rocks, hating life, and wondering how your grilfriend/team could do that to you. So much for my prediction that the Tony Franklin System would get it going this weekend. The Bulldogs’ offense wasn’t much better. An all-round, craptastic performance.
Big Game this Saturday on the Plains. Many hours of tailgating. Gameday will be there. I’ll try to stay sober enough to get some photos, but it’s my birthday weekend, so I can’t make any promises.
