Well, it looks like super-agent-to-the-stars-of-college-football-coaches, Jimmy Sexton, has worked his magic again. He floats Houston Nutt’s name for the Auburn job, and it leads to his client getting a nice raise from Ole Miss. We’d assume he was going to get one anyway, but it’s always nice to have a little more leverage (i.e., scare tactics) when going into a meeting and negotiation with the PTB. But who knows in this crazy world we call the SEC, Nutt could be on a plane right now to Auburn for all we know (we doubt it, but we wouldn’t put it past Sexton).
