Ole Miss head basketball coach Andy Kennedy was arrested early Thursday morning of an apparent assault of a Cincinnati cab driver.
A complaint filed in Hamilton County Municipal Court states that Andy Kennedy “punched victim with a closed fist while shouting racial slurs.”
Kennedy, a Bob Huggins disciple, was in Cincinnati preparing for his team’s Big East/SEC matchup with #6 ranked Louisville. No word yet it Kennedy will be on the bench tonight or not.
LAWYERIN’ UPDATE: Kennedy, through his attorney, has denied the allegations and plead not guilty.
ESPN WILL HAVE A FIELD DAY UPDATE: Kennedy will coach tonight. The game is on ESPN.
GRATUITOUS MUGSHOT UPDATE: Heres the police report and the mugshot. The police report says they got tossed from a bar, however the bar owner says no such thing happened.

I knew something like this would happen… although the versions from both sides and some of the witnesses show that there is huge discrepancies… but having said all of that..
I do know for a fact that Andy Kennedy’s first season here in Oxford was one filled with druken nights out trying to pick up “married” women at the bars.. one in paticular is a friend of mine who boldly told the intoxicated coach to go home to his wife and children.
I am sorry to hear this but I don’t think that this should be tolerated at all.

Does the University pay the bar tabs? That could add up to several nice scholarsips over a season.
I understand the raghead insulted the CSA and shook his fake Florshime at AK twice. Boone would have whupped the cabbie’s goat too!
