Offensive Genius to Auburn

December 28th, 2008 by · 2 Comments

gusbook In an effort to demonstrate the modern forward pass next season, Auburn has hired offensive no huddle spread guru and noted author Gus Malzahn to head up an offense that had an allergic reaction to the spread under lesser offensive genius Tony Franklin this past season.  Malzahn has been at Tulsa the past two seasons, where he led the Golden Hurricane to record setting offensive numbers.  No reaction as of yet from Beck Campbell concerning this hire, or how it effects her baby boy Mitch.

You have got to be kidding me about the Malzahn hire. Where is the personnel to run that type of offense? Didn’t you guys learn anything from the Tony hire and failed test? I guess old Stacy Searels say the writing on the wall and didn’t want any part of that circus.
    Good Luck Auburn
