Well, Thats a Bit of a Step Up

pederson_doug_2Former Brett Farve personal masseuse NFL quarterback Doug Pederson will be making a moderate career move this week as he will leave Calvary Baptist Academy, a high school in Shreveport, La, where he has served as head football coach the past 4 seasons (35-8 overall record in those seasons) to coach up the quarterbacks of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Coaching Little Billy vs. coaching Donovan McNabb…same general maturity level if you ask Troy Aikman.

Not unbelievable at all. Pederson is an Andy Reid protege.

He was the original QB that Andy brought with him when he got the job. He kept the QB spot warm for McNabb, who became the starter in mid-season. Reid wanted Pederson to work with McNabb and teach him the NFL game, I assume that Pederson is a good teacher, because he wasn’t a great QB. Average, not great.

Pederson and Reid are tight. I think Andy coached Pederson at Green Bay when he backed up Favre (maybe?).
