Pederson is an Andy Reid protege. He was the original QB that Andy brought with him when he got the job. He kept the QB spot warm for McNabb, who became the starter in mid-season. Reid wanted Pederson to work with McNabb and teach him the NFL game, I assume that Pederson is a good teacher, because he wasn't a great QB. Average, not great. Pederson and Reid are tight. I think Andy coached Pederson at Green Bay when he backed up Favre (maybe?). Not unbelievable at all. Pederson is an Andy Reid protege.
