South Alabama Basketball Coach Ronnie Arrow was none too pleased with the simple cajun folk at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette last week for their lack of modern electronics in the Cajun Dome. ULL had hit a game winning jumper as time expired, but Arrow insisted that the shot was late and implored officials to go to the monitor to confirm. ULL officials were apparently unfamiliar with the talking picture box that the outsider was speaking of.
However, Dan Hawkins fully endorses Coach Arrow’s persistence on the point that it was in fact a Division I game.
