Seems the contract negotiations between Texas Tech and and the Dread Pirate Leach have hit a standstill and now the Board of Regents has scheduled a meeting to determine the school’s next step. It’s a step that, improbably, could include invoking the Jeff Jagodzinski rule and just out and out firing Leach. Apparently Leach was all ready to sign the contract when the school snuck in several oppressive provisions at the last minute. You cross a pirate at your own risk and folly Red Raiders.
This story continues to intrigue, plus it gives us a chance to use all of those pirate puns we’ve been saving up.

First up:
It would seem from their apparent impasse in negotiations that the university and Cap’n Leach would require…wait for it……arrrrrrrrbitration.
Tip your waitresses! GOODNIGHT

I would have thought the administration would have swashbuckled under the pressure.
