Undaunted by the actions of young up and comers, Matt Jones lets everybody know who the Alpha Hog is in the Washington County Detention Center Quarterback depth chart with his second Possession charge in less than a year. Last time we caught up with “The Show”, he was cutting up lines in the back of a 4 Runner with a Foot Locker credit card in a parking lot off Dickson Street. This time, the act isn’t nearly as nefarious. Jones, clearly taking in the trappings of 75 degree weather in the Ozarks was out playing golf, perhaps enjoying a icy cold Silver Bullet or two…which is a violation of his probation and treatment program stemming from the previous arrest . Jones, appearing before the Judge Mary Ann Gunn, admitted to drinking on a golf course last Thursday. So either Matt Jones is extremely honest or someone told the judge the the Jags wide receiver was out on the links tossing back a few (and if thats the case I hope that person dies of face cancer…seriously, who narcs on a guy on the golf course?!)
We can only assume that he was involved in some sort of high stakes Wolf match at the time of his arrest, this is just the sort of thing Judge Smails would have pulled to claim victory.
UPDATE: 40/29 says the random drug test was the one that told on him.
Henry Hill-esque update: Jones will do a week in the brig for his insubordination.
