Despite a completely lackluster effort by the entire conference, the powers that be saw fit to go ahead and name the All-SEC hoops performers. User of creative sideline language, Trent Johnson, was named Coach of the Year, while future And1 playground legend Marcus Thornton was named Player of the Year…and that little glimmer of hope you see to your left was named Freshmen of the Year.

for the record, John Lassiter first called him terrico Suave! he bestowed that name to him after he single-handedly beat State at the hump.
