For the greater Dallas metro area police force, the law yeilds to no man, even if that man’s mother-in-law is on her deathbed. Ryan Moats, former Louisiana Tech star and current Houston Texan, was pulled over by an overzealous Dallas cop as he and his wife raced to Baylor Medical Center to be at the side of her dying and cancer riddled mother. The officer followed Moats after he ran through an intersection, with his hazard lights flashing mind you, and pulled him over in the Emergency Room parking lot.

We hope Officer Powell is jobless and relegated to doing back alley favors for spare change in Deep Ellum by the end of the week. Ass.

i live in dallas, and i’ve heard nothing but great things about moats. i love the fact that he never dropped his name on the cop through the whole thing. this cop is getting fried in the court of public opinion over here.

uncle rico is on hiatus…at best. real life has been beating me into submission in 2009. i haven’t even been able to check you boys out nearly as much as i’d like to. i think i may be getting back into the groove though.
