Ah Kate Monday (you’ve got to assume she is somehow related to Carl), you were a home-schooled adolescent’s secret desire. With your finely pressed slacks and your uncanny ability to solve the world’s problems by using long division you were a vision for socially awkward children who found comforting solace in you and your other PBS cohorts (Mathman, you are not forgotten either my friend). We slept with multiplication flash cards under our pillow in hopes you’d come visit us in our sleep and ask us to join you to solve math related crimes against humanity…we didn’t have alot of friends. But all that’s changed thanks to the Friends of the Program Facebook group, it’s where nerds like you and I can find refuge.
