Appropriately located behind “Good Ol’ Boys” restaurant in Auburn, Ala., the annual Alpha Psi Rodeo gives Auburn University students a reason, as if they really needed one, to let out their inner redneck by participating in a student rodeo. Yes, college students (usually of the non-sober fraternity variety, though there are some more serious “rodeo guys”) actually ride bulls and broncs (after signing a waiver that essentially says you’re agreeing to commit suicide). Bulls and blood, dust and mud…that sort of thing. Though for most students, it’s yet another excuse to…take your pick…wear cut off jeans and shirts, wear cowboy hats and boots, or start drinking beer before noon in April. Well, we were there this past Saturday to take in the sights and sounds to bring you the following photos AND video…

Because students are participating, you usually don’t get to see 8 seconds, mostly 1 or 2…

Pretty much how 90% of the girls dressed. We like that beer holster, ’cause it says, like, “I want to be practical when it comes to drinking beer, but I want to show my Southern pride too.”
