Pete Carroll and Nick Saban met up in LA yesterday to film a commercial spot for ESPN Gameday.  The following is an exerpt from that meeting.

Pete:  Nick thanks for coming to USC for this.  I would have loved to have made the trip to Tuscaloosa but my busy schedule of fighting crime and general humanitarianism won’t allow this travel during the offseason.  Have you gotten to see much of our fair city since you got here.

Nick:  Nope.

Pete:  That’s really too bad.  Maybe after this is over I can take you for a drive down the PCH to check out some of the more glorious Southern Cal sights, you got time for that?

Nick:  Nope.

Pete:  Well ok, you hungry, maybe a little lunch?  I know a great tofu burger joint in Santa Monica.  You down for a little health food.

Nick:  Nope.

Pete:  Man, you’re hard to please…I know, you need a break from all this…we all do.  You know what I like to do when I get a little stressed and tense?

Nick:  Nope.

Pete:  I go out to Malibu for a little body surfing.  You know, just you and the waves, get your Mother Nature on, its soul clensing really.  You bring a bathing suit?

Nick:  Nope.

Pete:  That’s ok, I’ve got a couple here at the office I can lo…

Nick:  Nope.

Pete:  Oh…ok…I understand, busy schedule.  Gotta keep that intensity up, even in the off season.  No time for nonsense with you.  That’s why you’re so successful, I really admire that Nick.  Say, I’ve got an idea, why don’t you guys come over and play us, see what Southern California and Trojan football is really all about.

Nick: Nope.
