Years from now, when my children ask me why I left the state of my birth to raise my family elsewhere, I will direct them to this moment in legislative history. It seems that Corrine Brown isn’t the only one getting her nonsence on in the public forum as the Louisiana House of Representatives has seen fit to use my hard earned tax dollars to bestow upon rapper and Louisiana native Hurrican Chris a resolution of commendationfor his exemplary work in the field of music and entertainment. Since the House has time for this, Im going to assume that th everything in the 9th Ward is just aces at the moment. Yes? Great.
