Was “The Eyes of the Tiger are upon you” or “All the Horns of the wicked will be cut off” too much to ask?
Look, far be it of me criticize anyone’s celebratory mood after winning a National Championship in ANYTHING…have all the parades you want, carry off the victors on your shoulders, let the integral members of the team ride that winning gravy train all the way into old age, take a bow even, you deserve it…but seriously, don’t hack it up with the National Champs shirts. Something dignified will do. A nice picture of a baseball diamond with understated script and a nod to the team’s achievements? Nope, its LSU fan we are talking about here. These are the same people who rock this to sporting events.

I actually thought they were pretty cool and I’m not an LSU fan…let’s be real, Texans bring on whatever they get it…hell, it’s their mantra…just like the Tide gets rammer-jammer right back at them when they lose.

Please….the conceit of the citizens of Texas along with the very existence of this “Don’t Mess With Texas” motto makes this sports-based response perfectly on the money. We’ll have pity on you when you stop thinking that you’re better than everyone else just because you’re from a particular state.
