Jamar Hornsby Reflects on His Circumstances

When life indicts you for felony assault (who knew that the court would frown on the use of brass knuckles during a donnybrook?) and pulls your scholarship, its important that you pause and take inventory of your situation, learning from your mistakes (like the time you stole a dead girl’s credit card) and identifying those positive aspects that will allow you to move forward…but not before you get the lowdown on all the hot clubs in “da A”.

I highly recommend Club Eden. It’s always “popping” as the black kids say.

Shouldn’t this kid be on one phone with any D-II coach who will talk to him and on another with his probation officer so he can see if he can cross state lines to get to D-II school.
Being “up n da club” isn’t going to help him “rize upa!”

It’s obvious he wasn’t attending class while he was at Ole Miss: “is n da A so wht club I hit esso or club miami??” I understand the need to abbreviate when you are handwriting, but when you type? Then again this not abbreviating, this is poor grammar. Maybe he shouldn’t type just as he talks, it’s hard to understand at times.

Oh, is that a low blow?
