There are a couple of reasons why a Division I university would schedule a HBCU for its football season…an easy win? Probably…to promote unity among universities within the same state or geographic area? Likely…to unleash upon the upper echeloned college football masses a halftime show that marches on the field and kicks your usual “Tribute to the 80’s” Journey Montage squarely in its ass? Absolutely. In that vein, behold the entertainment assault, celebrating the musical stylings of the sequined gloved one, waged on the unsuspecting fans of Louisiana-Lafayette at halftime by Southern University’s “Human Jukebox” (a name that is both appropriate, hilarious, and frightening). Behold greatness throughout…but especially at the 5:00 mark.
