Before they got to play football on the Plains on Saturday, as Forrest Gump would say, God showed up. Evacuation announcements and delays ensued. Lots of wetness. The students didn’t seem to mind at all. FEMA may have been called. Not to mention a pretty entertaining game, complete with fireworks, after monsoon ended. After this game, the tailgate guys will be providing ponchos and sides to the tents…for an extra charge, of course.
