To “djames” – Nice…being proud that Alabama fans attack referees at high school football games…and not even people involved with the game, just spectators. That’s really the definition of “class” right there. And calling the Bama fans who attacked the referees “people” is probably a stretch…primate might be more accurate, as I’m sure at least one of them has a tail.
Regardless of who you are rooting for, you should respect the referees. It’s not an easy job, and it’s much more difficult without the aid of instant replay to help you (as is the case with high school games). Obviously you’ve never participated in team sports at a level above pee wee.

First class turn fans. I have a friend who has been a ref for over 20 years….he would have whipped that “cushion toting” Bammer’s ass.
