#4…ready for his Call of Duty [Photoshop by TZilla]

It is the single largest source of energy in the solar system, ancient peoples and primitives alike prayed to it for mercy and good fortune, it is the giver and sustainer of all life on the Planet Earth, and its clearly the preferring playing condition for a certain SEC hot and cold quarterback.  For a season and a half its become readily evident that Jevan Snead thrives when playing when the sun is at its highest point in the sky as opposed to under the bright lights of a new moon.  He’s an anti-vapire, much more comfortable doing his Rebel bidding in broad daylight.  The stats againt SEC and BCS opponents speak for themselves…

Night Games

Opp.     C    A    Yards    TD    INT    Rating    Win/Loss

USC      7    21    107       1          0        91.85       Loss

Vandy 19  34   237       3           3      125.91      Win

Vandy 12  25   184        0          4         33.2        Loss

USC      21  32    243       1           1         85.8        Loss

Ark       14  27   209       2           1         86.8       Win

Avg.  14.6  27.8  196   1.4       1.8      84.71

Day Games

Opp.     C    A    Yards    TD    INT    Rating    Win/Loss

Wake   20  31  253         4        1         116.0       Loss

Fla.       9    20  185         2        1         90.6          Win

Ala.      16  31  192          1        1         68.2          Loss

AU        15  31  140         2        0        85.4           Win

LSU      16   25  274       2         0      127.8          Win

MSU    14    19  213        4         1       127.9          Win

TT        18     29 292        3         1       115.9          Win

Avg. 15.4  26.6  221.3   2.6   .7    104.54

A better yardage average, a better td to int ration and a much better passer rating.  He’s also been able to lead his team to victory against more high quality opponents in the daylight, and even in the losses, he gave his team a chance to win down the stretch.  Im not sure what all of this means, especially for Saturday.  The Ole Miss/Bama game is at 2:30, which at the very least gives me a little solace that perhaps “Good Jevan” will show his face versus “Evil Jevan, the evening scourge of Oxford and greater Lafayette County”…or maybe I just wanted an excuse to post this cool looking photoshop.  Either one.

Pretty sure Vandy and USC last year were day games. And LSU turned into a night game by the 3rd quarter, but Snead didn’t need to pass at that point since we were beating the dog piss out of them. Funny at the time the LSU PA Announcer at the beginning at the 4th Quarter that it “was now a night game at Tiger Stadium” but they didn’t include that game in their cute little night game winning streak.

Im sure the Vandy game was at night…I was there to witness that display of intercepting prowess. I was pretty sure SC was at night last year too.

last year vandy was at night, SC was in the day

Well then that just enhances the argument because he had decent numbers against SC last year.

[...] game they’ll put the ball in Dexter McCluster’s hands early and often. And hey, maybe Jevan Snead will actually bring it since the game is a 3:30 [...]
