In a shocking move yesterday, Kendall Grzyb and Courtney Upshaw have both filed motions to dismiss the misdemeanor charges against the other. As you may recall:

Grzyb’s father told the Press-Register that he thought the incident was initiated by his daughter. Per an early morning phone message, he relayed that account to Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, who chose not to suspend Upshaw from practice or game action.

For his efforts, the father (likely) has better seats at Bryant-Denny and that sense of self worth that you can only get by throwing your own daughter under the bus to help out your beloved Tide.

Upshaw will attend Anger Management classes according to Tide Sports, but most importantly you could say this quote about confirms our earlier suspicions:

Gryzb’s father shielded her from news cameras at the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse Wednesday morning. He turned around to yell “Roll Tide!” as they left the building.

 Seriously. After putting the blame on his daughter he is now celebrating her court case with swift and prideful ROLL TIDE!?

Who does that? Honestly? We guess the answer is a man with a sweet deal with Coach Saban, that is who. Tide Pride seats baby!
