The Raiders desperately needed an edge this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles and quite obviously it wasn’t going to come from Jamarcus Russell. Therefore they recruited the deadbeat cousin of their opponent’s mascot: The Pigeon. He stayed on the field most of the game, giving them the 12th man they always wanted but couldn’t legally have. McNabb and company were smart enough to steer clear (Bird Flu is the next Swine Flu) and thus the Land of Oak came away with a Big W.
