Congratulations Ole Miss, after decades of fighting to change perceptions of racial inequality at your school and around your state I think we can safely say you’ve bridged the divide.  The tipping point where I think now its safe to say you are on an level playing field as anyone else…the Klan did not like the way they were treated in Oxford (For the sake of your employment don’t click on that link, but in the comfort of your own home do check it out…I was sad to see I had missed their annual crawfish boil and cross burning.).

I always thought that colleges were for education and helping our children find higher paying jobs, not about swilling beer and alcohol, and also cursing in front of children that were present. So Ole Miss banned a song and a chant? but allow people in drunken stupors to shout every foul word conceivable, even the so called Dean of students  felt compelled to use foul language. As far as their freedom of speech goes, well it doesn’t really. We were allotted 3 parking spaces, greatly diminishing our chances of getting any more Klansmen in the rally. We were told from the get go we had the floor from 10 am till 11am, but we were given a grand total of 10 minutes before being told to leave. It looks like to me not only have they banned the song and the chant but also Our precious freedom of speech and right to peacefully assemble, Our rights were grossly trampled on, but we still took every liberty we could to make our stand.

The guy wants more than 3 parking spots…on campus…on a gameday.  Im sorry sir, but I don’t believe your level of Loyalty Foundation giving would allow you such luxuries.
