Never has there been more Patagonia and Mountain Hardware at a full scale riot, but nonetheless the UT students took to the streets last night to protest the abrupt departure of head football coach Lane Kiffin to USC. Riot police were sent in to restore order and prevent the crowd from overrunning Kiffin’s car as he tried to leave the UT facility. Police were also sent to Kiffin’s Knoxville home to protect against further angry, pitch fork carrying mobs.
And the students weren’t the only ones up in arms, seems the Vol players ere a little put out with Saint Ed’s guerrilla recruiting tactics.
