The celebration in new orleans after the Saints victory was truly something to see, there were impromptu parades and masses of humanity celebrating in unison. As FOTP reader and game attendee Tangy emailed me, “It was a very awesome sight to see. No one was looting or setting stuff on fire. It was awesome. People were just steaming out of their apartments, hotels and stores and bars. dancing around and honking their horns. It was cool and like you said, something I NEVER thought I’d see.”…so that’s good, nothing got looted or set on fire.
Oh, and there were also strip clubs on wheels, which is convenient and seemingly approriate, given the occassion and setting.
