In this amazing piece of investigative journalism that opens like a Brothers Grimm tale, all blame in the Dareus case is placed on UNC Defensive Tackle Marvin Austin. Austin allegedly provided a receipt that exonerates Dareus of any wrong doing.
The plane fare to Miami was paid for by Austin, but when Dareus arrived in Miami, he paid Austin for the ticket and received a receipt, the source said. Austin also arranged for a hotel room, but the source said Dareus did not use the room.
Behold, your FOTP exclusive proof:
Now if we can just get security footage proving Dareus slept on the beach, the lobby, or the bar and not his hotel room we can all move on with our lives.
