There’s a reason that Alabama and Mississippi fight tooth and nail year in and year out to be butt naked last in education nationally. I’m not saying that what is below has anything to do with it, but evidence such as this cannot be helpful. It seems that the fine folks from your National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide have dropped Mississippi State from their schedule and picked up a lesser football institution with a few less consonants. No word yet if these “Mississipi State Buldogs” also have a bye week before their showdown in Bryant-Denny.

Hey, they were printed in Arkansas, what do you expect?
Ole Miss was spelled “Ole Miss.”
The only thing better would have been if they had spelled it “Olé Miss.”

It also looks like the date on the top says 10-13 but below it says November 13th.

14 Fact Check // Aug 12, 2010 at 12:45 pm
This only goes to show the lack of intelligence on your behalf.
The University DOES NOT have any control whatsoever over the creation and printing of its athletics’ tickets.
You should put the blame on those responsible for this and whoever it is, they’re based out of Ft. Smith Arkansas, FYI.
So why you’re insulting the intelligence of an entire University (which ranked fourth in the SEC academically) and state, just remember that UA doesn’t create and print the tickets from their lunch room, and then proceed to throw them up on the market. No, no, you’ve got Arkansas to blame for this one.

Attn: Fact Check, you might want to re-check your “facts.” Dumbass Bammers!
“UA has taken the blame for the misspelling. Doug Walker with UA Media Relations says this was an oversight by the UA ticket office. This is the first year tickets have been printed by the school. They are normally printed by a company out of Arkansas. UA is now looking into the process of how tickets are designed and edited in light of this mistake.” http://www.abc3340.com/Global/story.asp?S=12970864

31 Greg // Aug 13, 2010 at 11:00 am
The University may not actually print those tickets, but at least in my own experience working for a Division I BCS conference school ticket office, the design for the tickets comes from the school itself – it’s up to the school to make sure whatever design they come up with is error free before sending it off to the printer…Bama f’ed up, plain and simple…

To the losers blaming an Arkansas company on this mistake, you may want to read this article
http://www.abc3340.com/Global/story.asp?S=12970864
and I quote, “This is the first year tickets have been printed by the school. They are normally printed by a company out of Arkansas.” So for the genius who said, “No, no, you’ve got Arkansas to blame for this one”, no wonder you guys claim a half dozen national championships that were given to you by an Alabama sportswriter when you had a .500 record. Who needs the truth when it gets in the way of your argument?

[...] The only remotely interesting thing I can think of is how damned illiterate we are in Alabama. It’s not our fault, they just don’t teached us right. Apparently, we can’t even spell our neighbors name, we seem to think it’s Mississippi. It’s not our fault they only know four letters and thought repeating them over and over would make a good name. So, when we print our tickets, we decide we’re playing “Mississipi State”. [...]
