Another Year, Another BCS Motion to Continue

December 8th, 2010 by · 6 Comments

It was unfortunate for Auburn Alum and Alabama lawyer LaBella Alvis that a her trial was set for January 10. So she, like the the Bama lawyer from last year, though in a poetic and holiday fashion, apparently has filed this motion trying to get a continuance so that she can attend the BCS National Championship Game in Glendale. She’ll find out whether the judge appreciates a good holiday poem and has a sense of humor at a hearing December 10. The entire motion is after the jump.

Update: There is another. Michael Mulvaney not only filed a motion to continue because of the BCS National Championship Game, but in support of his motion he attached photographs of his 3 Aub-fan daughters. As you will see after the jump, the judge had a “unique understanding” of the predictament facing Mr. Mulvaney.
