Perhaps you weren’t aware that Ruston in the 1970′s was so fly…consider yourself corrected.
Louisiana Tech was a Division II power back in the 1970′s. It’s pretty obvious, thanks to this picture, why that was the case. The sheer follicle intimidation is something to behold and struck fear and surrender into the hearts of many an opponent. What they don’t tell you is that,due to budget constraints, half of the team was forced into this hair style simply because there weren’t enough helmets to go around.

I’m retroactively naming their defense “Follicular Manslaughter”.

Their offense would just pound the ball down your ‘Fro-t. And when they did go to the air, their best receiver always scored when running the jheri-curl pattern.
