The NCAA, in an effort to make Les Miles’ visit to Birmingham for the SEC Media Days as uncomfortable as humanly possible, has scheduled a conference call to discuss the school’s internal investigation into illegal contact between a coach and a former recruit.
LSU had self reported the violation and imposed sanctions on itself. The hope in Baton Rouge is that the NCAA won’t swing the ban-hammer further. I’d, however, suggest that LSU fans cloack themselves in the appropriate quantities of armor and bourbon just in case…the NCAA has got to be getting cranky at this point.
