Below is a letter posted on Faceook by former Ole Miss Rebel, current KansasCity Chief, and Legend Emeritus Jerrell Powe that outliunes his displeasure with the current state of Ole Miss athletics and the leadership therein. Powe’s struggles through an eligibility obstacle course to even get in to Ole Miss is well documented so feel free to make all of the “who wrote the letter for that guy” jokes you want, but Powe’s revelation that Boone discouraged Powe from trying to make it into school just throws another log on the “fire Pete Boone” um…fire.

TL; DR
I read the first line/paragraph whatever that is. He calls himself a “forward rebel”? WTF is that??

Wow, you know it’s bad if former players are calling you out.

Funniest internet comment I’ve ever read “Jerrell Powe would be pissed… if he could read the scoreboard.”

Pete Boone must go in order for Ole Miss to get back to being the powerhouse and proud teams that they once were.

The jabs at Powe are uncalled for. I bet he would score high on math test with all the practice counting his money.

With comments from Jerrell Powe and those of Romaro Miller and from other players, it is apparent that Mr. Boone has little if any support. Can someone tally the loss of major contributors? Some folks forget the power plays of the “successor” to JHV , the shenanigans involving the ouster of Warner Alford, and the set up of David Cutcliffe.

Why is the letter, supposedly written by Powe, addressed to himself?
