Gus Malzahn, on the Tim Brando Show this morning, came to the defense of his wife and her participation in a now infamous YouTube clip of a Q and A interview at a Northwest Arkansas Church event. Malzahn called the video “manipulative” and “unfortunate” and said that he wouldn’t “be in the situation that I’m in right now professionally without her”.
Malzahn took the Arkansas St job after, presumably, being passed over for more high profile jobs elsewhere.
Kristi Malzahn could not be reached for comment, thankfully.

Absolutely no one sitting in the audience of that church saw anything out of the ordinary.
