Modest request of you the FOTP reader if you’ve got a minute and a couple of extra bucks lying around…A good friend of mine, Trent Wierick was in a pretty rough accident last week while riding his road bike on a rural Louisiana backroad. He essentially took a moving truck to the sternum and is presently in LSU Medical Center’s ICU recovering. Beyond being a great guy and an insane Ironman athlete, Trent was the kicker on the 1998 Louisiana Tech team that went in to Nebraska and did this. So, for the love of Troy Edwards, please go join Team Trent on Facebook and go buy a tshirt to help he and his wife out with the impending medical bills and the like.
