In anticipation of their 1,000 episode of RAW, the WWE has been honoring it’s past by trotting out some of it’s more notable past stars to wrestle West Memphis softball player look-alike, Heath Slater each week. Last night they brought out former WWE champion, and noted bow tie wearer, Bob Backlund. Beyond being in ridiculous shape for being in his 60′s, I could help but notice that Mr. Backlund looks entirely too much like Steve Spurrier…but it could have just been the shirtlessness that threw me off.
Also of note re: Backlund…please go read Steven Godfrey’s tweets about Backlund from last night. You’ll be better for it.
