Nike Finds the New Face of LIVESTRONG

October 17th, 2012 by · No Comments

With news today of Lance Armstrong’s release from his endorsement contract, Nike is left in search for a new mouthpiece, a figurehead if you will, for the highly successful LIVESTRONG brand and its many charitable efforts.  Apart from simply needing a new face of the charity, Nike has all of those handy little yellow bracelets that they have to move.  However, the bracelets, and their overall positive message, may now be lost with their current design, thanks to the scandal-driven bad press that Armstrong is currently engulfed in.   Nike needs a powerful brand to take over LIVESTRONG but at the same time have that brand not deviate from the original yellow wrist band design to minimize the overhead costs in execution of such a brand shift.  Thankfully for Nike, such a brand exists…

I predict heavy sales volume in Tuscaloosa and Bristol, Connecticut, but really no where else.
