Hugh Freeze is Testing the Limits of Our Nation’s Postal Service

January 9th, 2013 by · 17 Comments

Hugh Freeze has been noted as a bit of a voracious recruiter by the media and is peers.  Such is the approach one must take when trying to rebuild something from the ground, or more accurately, Houston Nutt’s basement of failure, up.  The lengths to which Freeze and his staff will go, however, seems to be putting a bit of a strain on our national postal system…as evidenced by this picture of one day of mail from Ole Miss from John Curtis linebacker and recruit Duke Riley.

at least coach freeze is working, and a letter goes along way when its sent to a high school student athlete , so we stand behind coach Freeze and his staff for their perseverence in establishing the ground work for success at ole miss

You should see the way their fans harass recruits on Twitter. I can’t figure out if it works, if it’s sad, if it’s funny, or if it’s just plain creepy.

Paul, who is this “Hot Todd” fella? New mascot? A fraternity hazing perhaps?

They’ve got plenty of postage money with all the lawyers and judges in their camp. Sad thing is it’s not the letter that goes a long way but the $100 handshakes from their alumni.

Who wants to have this pile of ……. to deal with on a regular basis. What happened to professionalism.? This isn’t cool it is stupid. It is like calling and leaving 30 phone messages on someone’s phone.

My guess is he’s putting out a letter a day to this kid. The mail room at Ole Miss probably went on holiday sabbatical and sent out the whole pile at once.

Aside from the whole issue at hand, I’d like to point out to spunk that you are a loser and an moron – not sure why you chose the name ‘spunk’ – maybe you think that is what everyone in your High School calls you – I think you better listen closer – they’re probably saying ‘PUNK!’

  • 16 Scott // Jan 10, 2013 at 10:21 pm

And just so all of you people criticizing the new coaches efforts, maybe you ought to look at the context of where this came from – the young man posted it himself with the statement –
“One day of mail from ole miss.. Like I said… They show love”
Maybe you naysayers should accept the fact that your coaches don’t do it because they are just too lazy and want everything handed to them without having to work for it.
